Wondering the difference between a gift card and a placeholder?
A gift card is just that: a typical gift card in the amount of your choosing, given to someone to do with as they so please. Click here to place an order for a gift card.
A placeholder is provided when you’ve put in an order—either a studio painting I’ve already made or a custom piece—and need the gift before I’m able to send it out. In its stead, I send a placeholder (by mail and by email) for you to share with the recipient. To receive a placeholder, either purchase the painting from its listing or, for custom work, place a deposit (last option in the drop-down menu for $100), then check out by following the prompts below. You’ll receive a link with a digital download of the first image—”something great is coming!”—which is good for 24 hours and I will also send a custom, rhyming ditty, as described above.
