BEAURECUEIL, JULY 17
BEAURECUEIL, JULY 17
Welcome to Provence! I spent a wonderfully blissful month in the south of France this summer, painting all day, every day; these are the fruits of my labor.
Beaurecueil is a small town outside of Aix-en-Provence where I painted alongside the Marchutz School seven years ago, when I first learned to paint, and again this summer. We go to Beaurecueil to paint because the landscape is so lovely, with the beautiful Mt St Victoire (Cezanne’s favorite mountain) looking over us.
Original oil painting on canvas with optional natural wood floating frame. Size approx 9” x 13” unframed/10” x 14” framed. Please allow approx 3 to 4 weeks for framing. Please note: this painting was painted en plein air and consequently is a bit messy around the edges. The sides are less-than-pristine! I strongly recommend a frame to make the piece feel a bit cleaner and more finished.
This painting is currently for sale at The Little Plucky in New Canaan, CT. If you’d like to purchase, please send me a note and I will arrange it through them. Thank you!!
Merci!!!
