Sumi ink is a beautiful medium to work with; traditionally used for calligraphy, I began working with it in a drawing class many years ago and have kept it in my repertoire as a way to get back to basics and find the essential in a subject. Coneflowers are a subject I’ve returned to many times in the past few years, in several sizes and media. This series of drawings works well shown all together in a grid, in smaller pairings, or as singles.

Drawings are sold individually or as a group of nine (with a reduction in price for the “grid” of nine drawings).
Professional framing available. A few framing options are mocked up in the images, though if you’re interested in another frame, just ask.
