Bonjour from France!! This summer I was an artist-in-residence with the Leo Marchutz School in Aix-en-Provence for six weeks, spending my days painting en plein air.

On this especially toasty day, I painted an interior at the beautiful home of a dear friend and fellow artist, Jill Steenhuis. We spent the afternoon painting in a cool room to escape the heat; a good decision.
