A symphony of parasols at le Moure Rouge, no. 2, Cannes, August 1

$525.00

Bonjour from France!! This summer I was an artist-in-residence with the Leo Marchutz School in Aix-en-Provence for six weeks, spending my days painting en plein air. After the residency was over, I still painted a bit while traveling; this piece is one of a few that I made while spending a few days on the Côte d'Azur.

This watercolor was painted on a sunny morning at a beach in right in Cannes called le Moure Rouge. I loved the parasols lined up in all of their happy colors and decided to paint the scene. This is one of two painted that morning; the other is here.

Original watercolor painting, framed in cobalt lacquer. Size approx 15” x 19” framed.

Shipping (USPS First Class) is free in the continental United States.

Merci!!!
