Bonjour from France!! This summer I was an artist-in-residence with the Leo Marchutz School in Aix-en-Provence for six weeks, spending my days painting en plein air.

At some point in the summer, I began getting to the beach earlier in the morning, which meant the light was softer and the paintings also became softer. More people came later in the morning, but it started quite tranquil; I lovely way to start the day.
