On warmer days this early springtime in New York City, I ventured out to paint townhouses and restaurants and the general hustle-bustle of the city. All of these paintings were made en plein air, meaning I painted them from life, sitting outside and looking at the scene as I worked. Dante is a lovely restaurant on the corner of Perry and Hudson streets; I sat across the intersection at a cafe to paint it.
Original watercolor on paper, approx 11”x14” with straight edges, unframed; approx 15”x19” framed.
Several options are available for professional framing; we can chat to decide the frame you prefer.
