Bonjour from France!! This summer I was an artist-in-residence with the Leo Marchutz School in Aix-en-Provence for six weeks, spending my days painting en plein air.

This oil painting is one of two from a session at a sandy beach off of the Mediterranean, close to Cassis. Friends were lounging nearby… hence the legs! I have been loving including the swimmers in my paintings.
