Bonjour from France!! This summer I was an artist-in-residence with the Leo Marchutz School in Aix-en-Provence for six weeks, spending my days painting en plein air.

This watercolor was painted from a window overlooking some of Aix’s lovely rooftops. I love the ironwork at the windows here so decided to include that (compositionally nice, too!). A rare rainy day in the south; made the most of it!!
