Bonjour from France!! This summer I was an artist-in-residence with the Leo Marchutz School in Aix-en-Provence for six weeks, spending my days painting en plein air.

This oil painting is one of two painted at Lac de la Bonde this summer, where I returned with the school for a beautiful day of painting. If you've been following along for a while, you may remember that I also painted here last year; we returned! Two more paintings made, one before lunch and one after lunch. A rather ideal way to spend a day!
