Bonjour from France!! This summer I was an artist-in-residence with the Leo Marchutz School in Aix-en-Provence for six weeks, spending my days painting en plein air.

On this afternoon in Niolon, after having spent the morning farther down the coast at la Redonne-Ensues, I saw this beautiful scene of children lined up to jump into the gloriously cool water. Afterward they came over and picked themselves out of the painting; I very sweet moment on the beach.
